Farmer's Markets

We love farmer's markets!  It is a great, low cost way to get outside and enjoy a walk on a weekend morning.  We are at the peak of summer fruit and vegetable season right now, so it is the perfect time to go.  With over 50 farmer's markets in a 20 mile radius around Hillsboro there are plenty to visit.  A great resource to find one closest to you:

Hillsboro Farmer's Markets   Our favorite because it isn't too big and crowded is the Hillsboro Market with 4 locations:

Downtown, at  Main Street and 2nd Avenue,  Saturdays until 10/29, 8am-1:30pm
Orenco, at Orenco Station Pkwy and NE 61st (off Cornell), Sundays until 10/30, 10am-2pm
Tanasbourne, at NW Cornell and Stucki Ave (@Whole Foods), Wednesdays until 8/31, 4:30-7:30pm
Tuality Hospital, at Baseline and 8th Avenue, Thursdays until 9/5, 10:30-1:30pm

Beaverton Farmer's Markets

The Beaverton farmer's market is one of the largest in the region.  I recommend going early!  We won't go after 10am because we can't navigate Noah's pushchair through the hordes of people.  If you go, eat a Fetzer's sausage for me!

Located on Hall Street between 3rd and 5th.  Saturdays until 10/29, 8am-1:30pm and
Wednesdays until 8/31, 3-6pm
